Airports Airports Airports
A blessed Easter to everyone! He has risen, He has risen indeed! Yes!!!!
A few months ago, a colleague I serve with at the Boise Airport mentioned an international chaplains’ conference in Nairobi, Kenya, and asked if I’d be interested in attending.
And now, just a few months later, our journey has begun.
Ski Milanowski and I are in transit, making our way to the far side of the world. We’re currently on board our flight from Amsterdam to Kenya, arriving in Nairobi around 10pm on this Easter Sunday.
There’s something unique about airports when you slow down enough to notice: people coming and going, brief conversations, quiet moments in the middle of movement. It’s the space we serve a few hours a week, meeting travelers and airport employees where they are, offering encouragement, prayer, and simply being present. It’s a privilege to be part of that work.
And now we’re looking forward, for a few days, to connecting with chaplains from around the world—men and women serving in similar ways, each with their own stories and experiences.
So far, the journey has been mostly sky and sea from 30,000 feet. Simple, steady travel.
Thank you for your prayers. We’re grateful for your support, and we’ll share more as the days unfold.
